- Dogs are not allowed in the museum, but are welcome in the Park of Ambras Castle on a leash.
- Photographing is allowed for personal use. Tripods, monopods and flash lighting are prohibited at all times. There are areas where photographing is not allowed and that is shown by separate signs.
- The tour in a castle will take around two hours and if you love art it might take up to four hours.
- Ambras castle cafeteria has salads, baguettes, soups etc. for a suitable price. The cafeteria is open everyday from 10am to 5pm.
- Ambras castle has a shop where you can find a diverse selection of books, children toys and other items.
